wilLiam Irish & Karen Rader have been on the road doing, researching new material for, and working on new shows the last year, and wish to announce a new group name.

The former CMO, (Celtic Melody Orchestra), is no longer in existence, but has had a new rebirth, and is now called " Cairde "

(Irish for "Friends").

The core group Cairde consists of :

Myself, wilLiam Irish, ( Liam the Irish Piper);

Uilleann Pipes, Parlour Pipes, Grand Irish War Pipes, Tin Whistle, Irish Flute, Banjo, Melodeon, Bodhrán, Guitars, Harp, Zither, Glute, Balalaika, Hammered Dulcimer, Appalachian, Dulcimer, Didgeridoo, Flutes, including Native American Flute, Musical Saw... and others, along with Irish Blarney, Humour, Wit, and Shenanigans.

My lovely bride, Karen Rader, (master Storyteller, and percussionist as well);

Bodhrán, Tambourine, Spoons, other percussion and Autoharp, adding a wonderful percussive foundation to our music, and delightful stories that are orchestrated with music and will capture and hold an audience of any age spellbound.

and our good friend, Dan Little,

Dan plays Fiddle, and Guitar, Sings, and adds his own style of Wit & Humour.

(We may also have Jenny Rutherford and other friends, (cairde), join us for some shows).

Dan and I met each other almost 20 years ago, and have worked together in different groups, and situations, and over the years he, Karen and myself have become not only comrades in music, but good friends. (thus, Cairde). We have had Dan do a lot of shows on the road with us the last year or so, and have decided that he should become a permanent fixture. He will be touring with us regularly. We hope to do a live show recording with him when back in Ireland again this June.
